Trick or Treat! (Halloween Update)

Fall is in full swing and October starts tomorrow! So the Mark Neff Team just wanted to pass on some information from the city of New Albany regarding Halloween this year:

For many, Halloween signifies one of the biggest celebrations of the year. Resident calls start occurring in February for this October event. This year, in conjunction with MORPC's recommendation, the City of New Albany's Halloween will occur on a Thursday since October 31 falls on a Friday. This ensures no conflicts with high school football or other weekend activities. Halloween is a community celebration but not a city sponsored event. As such, the event will occur rain or shine and the city will not have a rain date. Parents will need to use their best judgment in whether to allow their children to participate in the event of bad weather but this decision allows all who are planning large parties to have greater comfort in the actual day of the celebration. On behalf of New Albany staff, we hope you enjoy the festivities!

...At this point our understanding is the hours will be 6-8pm.
